An Example Of Greek Government Stupidity – Road Tax

The Greek government is predicting an increase in revenues from road tax in 2012 despite not increasing the rates in 2012.

Why is it stupid to believe revenue will increase this year?

It is very simple, as I stated above, the cost of road tax has not increased in 2012 and the Greek economy has shrunk by over 7%.

On what possible basis does the Greek government base its forecast for increasing revenue on?

What on earth makes them believe that more cars will taxed in 2012 than in 2011 given that the economy has shrunk by over 7%?

The Greek government has zero credibility, I think it is obvious to most and yet the mainstream media continues to regurgitate the government propaganda as fact.
