A leading Greek newspaper has though it fit to repeat the words from the Greek finance minister which are obviously false and misleading.
Stournaras, the Greek finance has publicly stated that he believe the Greek trade deficit for the first 10 months of 2012 was 2.5 billion Euros
Either Stournaras has made a simply massive mistake or he is deliberately trying to mislead the Greek people.
ΤΟ ΒΗΜΑ’s lack of push back on this figure makes me believe that they simply regurgitate whatever the government tells them.
Using the Bank Of Greece’s (The Greek central bank) figures the Greek trade deficit for the first 10 months of 2012 was 17.6billion Euros.
In other words the Greek finance ministers figures are 700% away from reality. This is incredible. I have asked ΤΟ ΒΗΜΑ for an explanation I hope they respond because this kind of news reporting is absurd.
